It's been far, far to long since I last posted. I've been busy on a Dwarven Forge conversion that's taken many months now. I think I started it last September or October. YIKES! I need to finish this one up, stat! Actually, I've been doing a couple of different workshop projects in tandem. When I get stuck on one, I pick up on another to keep things moving along.
Anyway, I can barely see the light at the end of the tunnel now, sort of. I finally sat down and did an exhaustive online search for some parts I needed to finish the project and I found this pretty cool website called
Puppetswar.com. They sell some quirky conversion parts (mostly for 28mm tabletop wargaming like Warhammer) and I found they have exactly the part that I couldn't find elsewhere. SO STOKED! The downside is that the stuff is coming from Poland, so it's going to be a few more weeks before I get my goodies in hand. Then I'll have to modify, paint, assemble, etc, etc, etc....
So re: Puppetswar, here are some of the things they have that I think are pretty cool/ funny/ quirky. They have many other items I wanted so believe me when I tell you I had to struggle to get my shopping cart down from over $300 worth of stuff to something a lot more reasonable. Check 'em out.
